About the scholarship
A Scholarship of up to $4,000 to support New Zealand citizens and permanent residents enrolling in the first year of a Bachelor of Music or conjoint degree.
The Scholarships were established in 2015 and are funded by the Taurus Charitable Trust.
The main purpose of the Scholarships is to assist school leavers who have the potential to succeed in the School of Music and for whom the financial contribution would make a significant contribution to their financial needs.

Scholarship applications will usually open around six weeks before the closing date. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible before you apply.

Entry requirements
To be offered the Scholarships the candidates must be currently enrolled in Year 13 at a New Zealand Secondary School and intending to enrol fulltime in a Bachelor of Music or conjoint degree in the School of Music at the University of Auckland in the following year. The Scholarships are tenable by students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand
