About the scholarship
The T R Plunkett Prize was established following an endowment made in 1965 by obstetricians and gynaecologists throughout New Zealand in memory of Dr Thomas Plunkett, distinguished obstetrician and gynaecologist. The main purpose of the Prize is to recognise the Part VI MBChB student who has achieved the highest marks in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
