About the scholarship

A Scholarship of up to $7,500 for full-time or part-time enrolment in Year Two or Three of a BSc or BAdvSci(Hons) in Environmental Physics or Physics with an interest in Environmental Physics/Climate Physics. The Scholarship was established in 2016 in memory of Professor Kurt Kreielsheimer who arrived in New Zealand as a refugee in the 1930s and enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the Department of Physics at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support an undergraduate student undertaking their second or subsequent year of study towards a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) majoring in Environmental Physics or Physics with an interest in Environmental Physics/Climate Physics.
