About the scholarship
A Scholarship for Mount Albert Grammar School students enrolling in a BE(Hons) at the University of Auckland.
The Scholarship was established in 2017 and is funded by Jim Greatbanks, an alumnus of the University of Auckland Faculty of Engineering and Mount Albert Grammar School (MAGS).
The main purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage Mount Albert Grammar School students to study Engineering at the University of Auckland.
How To Apply
Scholarship applications will usually open around six weeks before the closing date. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible before you apply.

Entry requirements
The Scholarship will be offered to students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand, currently in their final year at Mount Albert Grammar School (MAGS) and intending to enrol full-time in a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (BE(Hons)) or associated conjoint programme at the University of Auckland in the following year (see Note IV). To take up the offer of the Scholarship, awardees must achieve admission to the BE(Hons) or associated conjoint programme at the University of Auckland.
