About the scholarship
The Scholarship was established in 2016 and is funded by a School of Architecture graduate, David Howell, who has a very successful practice in New York.
The purpose of this Scholarship is to support students undertaking study in Architecture, particularly to encourage research and education for the general public benefit.

Entry requirements
'- To take up and be paid the Scholarship the candidate must be enrolled and have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full-time enrolment in the first year of a Master of Architecture (Professional) at the University of Auckland.
- The Scholarships are tenable by New Zealand citizens and permanent residents.
- The basis of selection will be academic merit and financial need (see Notes i and ii). The successful candidate will have a minimum GPA/GPE of 5.00.
