About the scholarship
The Harrison Grierson Best Practice Award in Urban Planning and Design was established in 2013 by the Director of Harrison Grierson.
The main purpose of the Award is to recognise the student who has completed their third year of study of the Bachelor of Urban Planning degree, and who has who best an understanding of the integration of theory with practice, in urban planning.

You do not need to apply for this scholarship, award or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.

Entry requirements
The Award will be made annually to the full-time student in the final year who has completed their third year of study of the Bachelor of Urban Planning degree, and has enrolled in their fourth and final year, who either obtained the highest marks in individual work or who, in the view of the Selection Committee, best demonstrates an understanding of the integration of theory with practice in urban planning.
