About the scholarship
An Award to recognise the highest achieving Māori or Pacific student entering Part II of the Bachelor of Optometry.The New Zealand Association of Optometrists has a long and valued relationship with the School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of Auckland. In recognition of this, the NZAO established a set of undergraduate awards for Bachelor of Optometry students at the University.The main purpose of the Award is to recognise the highest achieving Māori or Pacific student entering Part II of the Bachelor of Optometry.

Entry requirements
Awards known as the New Zealand Association of Optometrists Undergraduate Awards will be made annually to students ordinarily resident in New Zealand who are enrolled and have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for the Degree of Bachelor of Optometry at the University of Auckland.
