About the scholarship
A $10,000 Scholarship to support a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident enrolled full-time in Part VI of the MBChB undertaking an elective in the United States. The Scholarship was established in 2015 and is funded by Henry and Marjorie Isaacs. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support a final year medical student at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland with an interest in infectious diseases or clinical microbiology. The Scholarship will provide partial support for a student to undertake independent elective activities at a reputable academic institution in the United States.
