About the scholarship
The Michael and Dame Rosie Horton Prize was established in 2014 by Michael and Dame Rosie Horton to remember the journalist and writer, Marcia Russell. The main purpose of the Prize is to recognise and reward the best work submitted by a Bachelor of Arts student studying New Zealand literature.
