About the scholarship
The Scholarship was established in 2012 and is funded by the Auckland Jazz and Blues Club.
The main purpose of the Scholarship is to assist postgraduate students majoring in Jazz Performance.

You do not need to apply for this scholarship, award or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.

Entry requirements
'-To take up the Scholarship the candidate must have enrolled and paid the fees, or have arranged to pay the fees, for full-time enrolment in a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Jazz Performance. -The Scholarship is tenable by students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand. -The basis of selection will be academic merit (assessed by the applicant’s GPA in Stage III Music Performance studies) and potential to contribute to the music industry.
