About the scholarship
The Cecil Segedin Undergraduate Scholarship in Engineering Science was established in 2007 and is funded by the Cecil Segedin Endowment Fund. This is a memorial Scholarship in remembrance of Professor Cecil Segedin who began teaching Engineering Mathematics at Ardmore in the 1950s and went on to establish the Department of Engineering Science in 1963. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage students undertaking the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), majoring in Engineering Science.
