About the scholarship
These Scholarships were established by the Dean of Arts in December 1994, and are offered annually to meritorious students enrolled for an approved Masters degree, an approved Bachelors Honours degree, or an approved Postgraduate Diploma.
How To Apply
Scholarship applications will usually open around six weeks before the closing date. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible before you apply.
Entry requirements
'- To take up and be paid the Scholarship the recipient must have enrolled and paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full-time or part-time study towards an approved Masters, Bachelor (Honours) degree or Postgraduate Diploma in the Faculty of Arts.
- The Scholarships are tenable by students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand.
- The basis of selection is academic merit.
