About the scholarship
The David Robinson Prize in Mathematics was established in 2003 from a generous donation by Professor David Robinson, Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at King's College, London, who was a student at the University of Auckland from 1960 until 1963. The purpose of the Prize is to recognise the student who has exhibited the most potential to succeed in Mathematical Physics. If there is no suitable candidate in these areas, consideration will be given to offering the Prize to a student in another area of Applied Mathematics.
