About the scholarship
The Shimon Weinroth Prize in Poetry is awarded to the student who produces the best piece of poetry at Stage III level of a BA, BA(Hons), MCW, or PhD in Creative Practice. Established in 2016 in memory of Shimon Weinroth, an Israeli American award-winning poet and philosopher, the prize recognizes and rewards students who demonstrate a focus and commitment to writing poetry.
