About the scholarship
The Award was established in 2016 and is funded by Stephen and Laura Dee.
The main purpose of the award is to recognise, reward and encourage students majoring in English to undertake further study in English Literature at postgraduate level.

You do not need to apply for this scholarship, award or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.

Entry requirements
The Award will be made to the more academically meritorious and promising student undertaking an honours year in English, taking into account all previous English Literature work examined in the qualifying degree programme (see Note I).
