About the scholarship
The Penny Peng Wang Scholarship was established in 2011 by GHD Limited to recognise Penny Peng Wang’s contribution and commitment to professional engineering.
The aim of the Scholarship is to encourage, recognise and reward a high achieving student who has demonstrated leadership and contribution to the engineering community, and who is enrolling in CIVIL 770, Transport Systems Economics for the degree of Master of Engineering Studies (Transportation).

Scholarship applications will usually open around six weeks before the closing date. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible before you apply.
Entry requirements
- The Scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in the Master of Engineering Studies specialising in Transportation Engineering who has paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for enrolment in CIVIL 770, Transport Systems Economics.
- The basis of selection will be academic merit, leadership and demonstrated contribution to other engineering students and/or the engineering community.
- The scholarship is tenable by students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand.
