About the scholarship
The Ardmore Fund was established by students from the Auckland University College School of Engineering at Ardmore Class of 1957-59 after their successful reunion in April 2000.
The Scholarships are awarded to students of high academic achievement who exemplify the camaraderie, school spirit and values representative of “The Ardmore Years”. Special consideration is given to students experiencing financial hardship.
How To Apply
Scholarship applications will usually open around six weeks before the closing date. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible before you apply.
Entry requirements
'- The Scholarships will be awarded to candidates who have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full-time enrolment in Part III of a BE (Hons) degree. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand.
- The basis of selection will be academic achievement and how well the applicant exemplifies the camaraderie, faculty spirit and values representative of “The Ardmore Years”. This includes commitment, energy, exuberance, friendly rivalry and teamwork. Special consideration will be given to students experiencing financial hardship, particularly where such hardship might result in the student not completing their engineering studies.
