About the scholarship
This scholarship supports female students at the University of Canterbury to complete bachelor’s degrees, bachelor’s with honours degrees, and non-thesis postgraduate study. Graduate Women Canterbury established the scholarship in 2017 following a change to the organisation’s name. It replaces the New Zealand Federation of Graduate Women (Inc.) Canterbury Branch Trust Board Scholarships, which had been established in 1994.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be female and citizens of New Zealand. 2.2 Applicants must be enrolled full-time at the University, mainly at 300, 400, 500, or 600 level, in: a. a programme for a bachelor’s degree; b. a programme for a bachelor’s with honours degree; or c. postgraduate non-thesis study. 2.3 Scholarships are available in the following categories: a. For students who are enrolled mainly at 300 level (one scholarship) Page 2 of 2 b. For students who are enrolled mainly at 400, 500, or 600 level (one scholarship)
