About the scholarship
A Prize to recognise the student who achieves the highest mark in a research project, dissertation or thesis for a BA(Hons), PGDipArts or MA in English. The David Wright Prize in English was established in 2009 with a donation from the wife and family of Dr David Wright, an author and lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Auckland. The main purpose of the Prize is to reward the best performance in a research project by a student enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Postgraduate Diploma in Arts or a Master of Arts in English.
