About the scholarship
The Drake Prize is awarded annually to the full-time BMus, BMus(Hons), PGDipMus or MMus student who achieved the highest mark in a musicology essay. Established in 2010 by the School of Music, the Prize honors the work of Associate Professor Warren Drake, a distinguished senior academic staff member at the School of Music for over 40 years.

You do not need to apply for this scholarship, award or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
