About the scholarship
The Tom and Julie Stephanian Prize is awarded in alternate years to the MArch(Prof) student who achieved the highest mark in ARCHDES 796 or the student in the Faculty of Law who achieved the highest mark in LAWENVIR 420. This Prize was established in 2018 and is funded by Diane Brand and Gregory J Thwaite, graduates of the University of Auckland, in order to commemorate the hospitality and generosity of the Stephanian family of Massachusetts, USA during their studies at Harvard University in the 1980s. The main purpose of the Prize is to recognise and reward excellence in academic achievement.
