About the scholarship
An Award for a MA thesis year student in Philosophy, up to $2,000 to assist New Zealand citizens and permanent residents with research costs. The Award was established in 2014 and is funded by Quentin Maxwell-Jackson in memory of his Masters dissertation supervisor, GWR Ardley. The main purpose of the Award is to support and encourage a Masters thesis student, studying Philosophy in the Faculty of Arts and Education, to take advantage of research opportunities such as, but not limited to, travel, which they would not otherwise be able to undertake.
