About the scholarship
The Pacific Lawyers Association Prize for Pacific Islands Mooting was established in 2012 by the Pacific Lawyers Association. The Pacific Lawyers Association aims to develop and promote Pacific views within the New Zealand community, in addition to encouraging Pacific law students and young lawyers. The main purpose of the Prize is to recognise and reward excellence in mooting on Pacific Islands issues at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. It will be awarded each year to the winner of the Pacific Issues Moot in the Faculty of Law.
