About the scholarship
A Prize for the undergraduate or postgraduate student who submitted the meritorious report on geological field work. This Prize was established by subscriptions from past and present students and staff of the Geology Department at Auckland University, as well as from other professional colleagues, as a tribute to Professor A. R. Lillie upon the occasion of his retirement after holding the Chair in Geology at Auckland from 1951 to 1974.
