About the scholarship
An Award of up to $10,000 for MBChB students enrolling part-time or full-time in a BMedSci(Hons) or postgraduate research degree in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences before completing their MBChB. The Trust Fund was established in 1989 from the will of Mrs I M Gill of Auckland. Awards have been established by the Trustees of the John Hamel MacGregor Trust to support medical students who wish to pursue a BMedSci or postgraduate research degree in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland.
