About the scholarship
The main purpose of the Scholarships is to encourage and support academically excellent students to study for a PhD in a health-related area in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.

You do not need to apply for this scholarship, award or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.

Entry requirements
'- The Scholarships may be awarded for full-time enrolment in the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy. The Scholarships may also be awarded to domestic students for whom socially compelling reasons make part-time enrolment preferable (see Note IV).
- The Scholarships are tenable by domestic and international students who are paying domestic fees.
