About the scholarship
Prize for the MBChB Part VI student nominated by their peers for their helpfulness, co-operation and support to classmates. The Award was established in 2001 by Associate Professor Brenda Dawson on her retirement from the position of Assistant Dean (Student Affairs) in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. The main purpose of the Award is to acknowledge and reward the medical student in the qualifying class who has shown the most altruism and support for their peers throughout their MBChB.
