About the scholarship
An Award to support a woman student who is a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident enrolled in Part VI of the MBChB undertaking an elective that focuses on the health of women and children. The Award was established in 2005 by the New Zealand Medical Women's Association and replaces the NZMWA Auckland Branch award which has been funded annually since the 1970s. The main purpose of the Award is to assist a woman enrolled in the final year of an MBChB to undertake an elective that focuses on the health of women and children.

Must be a woman student who is a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident enrolled in Part VI of the MBChB. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible to apply.
