About the scholarship

A Prize for the most meritorious project work in Chemical Engineering in the final year research project of the BE(Hons). The Prize was established in 1983 by the wife and parents of Phillip Graham Crabbe together with contributions from family, friends and colleagues. Dr Crabbe, a lecturer in and outstanding former student of the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, was killed in a car accident in 1982 at the age of 29. This Prize commemorates his pursuit of excellence in the field of Chemical Engineering.
