About the scholarship
The Butland Prize is awarded to the student judged to have shown the most clinical ability during the final year of the MBChB programme. It was established by the Butland Medical Trust to recognize the support and interest shown by Sir Jack and Lady Butland in the establishment of the School of Medicine at the University of Auckland.
