About the scholarship
This scholarship supports students from countries of the Commonwealth who are undertaking postgraduate study at the University of Canterbury, thereby promoting international understanding through education. The scholarship was established by the Royal Commonwealth Society (NZ) Inc., Canterbury Branch, which is affiliated to the Royal Commonwealth Society in London.

Entry requirements
Recipients must be enrolled in a full-time or part-time programme for a Master's degree by thesis or a PhD degree at the University of Canterbury. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of a country of the Commonwealth.
