About the scholarship
This scholarship supports undergraduate students in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Canterbury. One or more scholarships, tenable for one year, may be available each year.
The current value of each scholarship is $5,000. In addition, and provided suitable positions are available, Tait Communications may offer scholarship holders paid employment during the summer vacation following the tenure of the award.

Entry requirements
The scholarship is open to full-time students enrolled for the Second or Third Professional Year for the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours degree, who have successfully completed the First or Second Professional Year of the degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Canterbury. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents.
