About the scholarship

A $6,000 Scholarship to assist BE(Hons), BE(Hons)/BSc and BCom/BE(Hons) students who are New Zealand citizens and permanent residents. The Scholarship was established in 2004 and is financed by Jacobs (previously known as SKM). The main purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage students studying towards the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree or Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) conjoint degree in all departments within the Faculty of Engineering and Design. This will enable Jacobs to support the engineering profession by being involved in the education of future engineers and create mutually advantageous links between the scholarship provider and the recipient.
