About the scholarship
A Scholarship to support part-time and full-time BSc, BSc(Hons) and MSc students in Physics, Geophysics, Photonics or Medical Physics and Imaging Technologies, who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
The Scholarships were established in 2016 and are financed by the University of Auckland Physics Department.
The purpose of the scholarship is to support and strengthen the cohort of students in the Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science (Hons) or Master of Science in Physics, Geophysics, Photonics or Medical Physics and Imaging Technologies at the University of Auckland.

Scholarship applications will usually open around six weeks before the closing date. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible before you apply.

Entry requirements
To take up and be paid the Scholarships the candidate must be enrolled and have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for enrolment in a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science (Honours) or Master of Science in Physics or Geophysics, or a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Photonics or Medical Physics and Imaging Technologies in the Faculty of Science at the University of Auckland. The Scholarships are tenable by students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand.
