Scholarship applications will usually open around six weeks before the closing date. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible before you apply.
Entry requirements
The Scholarship will be awarded to students who have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full-time enrolment in Part II, III, IV or V of a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery programme.
The Scholarship is tenable by students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand.
The basis of selection will be academic merit and demonstrated financial need. Successful applicants will have a grade point average (GPA) or grade point equivalent (GPE) of at least 5.00 (see Notes I-II).
