About the scholarship
A Scholarship to support a full-time Year V to VI MBChB candidate who has overcome a significant personal challenge to undertake professional development or training. The Scholarship was established in 2009 by the friends and family of Zachary Gravatt to commemorate his life. Zachary Gravatt was a student of the University of Auckland from 2006 to 2009 who overcame dyslexia and was a fourth year student doctor at the time of his death. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to fund professional development and/or training for a Year V to VI MBChB student who has overcome a significant personal challenge to succeed with their studies and who has demonstrated excellence in clinical skills.
