Value | a) College of Arts Top Scholars: Two students will each be named a 'College of Arts Top Scholar' and awarded a scholarship of up to 1 EFTS of their domestic tuition fees. b) College of Arts Maori Scholar: One student of Maori descent will be named a 'College of Arts Maori Scholar' and awarded a scholarship of up to 1 EFTS of their domestic tuition fees. c) College of Arts Pacific Scholar: One student of Pacific descent will be named a 'College of Arts Pacific Scholar' and awarded a scholarship of up to 1 EFTS of their domestic tuition fees. d) College of Arts Scholars: Twenty students in the College of Arts will each be named a 'College of Arts Scholar' and awarded a scholarship of $1,000 each towards their domestic tuition fees. |
Length | Each scholarship shall be tenable for one year and be taken up in the year following application. |

About the scholarship
These scholarships were established by the College of Arts at the University of Canterbury in 2007 to reward academic excellence at an undergraduate level and promote advanced study in the College of Arts.

Entry requirements
The scholarships shall be awarded to students beginning full-time study towards a Bachelor of Arts with Honours, Bachelor of Music with Honours or Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in subjects from departments and schools in the College of Arts.
