About the scholarship
A $5,000 Scholarship for a domestic or international student undertaking masters level research in the Faculty of Arts and Education related to social or educational inequality. The Scholarship was established in 2020 and is funded by Mark Barrow, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Social Work from 2018 to 2024. The intention of the Scholarship is to support a student to undertake a master's thesis or research portfolio in the Faculty of Arts and Education at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland that aims to make a positive contribution towards addressing an issue or issues related to social or educational inequality.
