About the scholarship
The Bishop Music Prizes were established from a fund bequeathed to the University of Auckland under the will of the late Mr Charles John Bishop for the encouragement of the study of Musical Composition at the University. A Junior Prize for the student who achieved the highest mark in MUS 111 and a Senior Prize for the student who achieved the highest mark in either MUS 211 or MUS 311.
