About the scholarship
A Prize to reward and recognise Māori students' achievement in contemporary Māori dance within Ngā Akoranga Kanikani | Dance Studies. The Prize was established in 2025 and is funded by the Faculty of Arts and Education. It recognises and honours Stephen Bradshaw (Ngāti Maru), alumnus of the Dance Studies programme, and Rangatira of Māori/Contemporary Dance and Toi Māori Arts in Aotearoa.
