About the scholarship
The Faculty of Arts and Education offers a limited number of scholarships each year to support outstanding research talent and innovative research outputs. The scholarships are available for students applying for admission to the doctoral programme.
Entry requirements
Applicants must indicate their wish to be considered for a University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarship in their application. They must also contact proposed supervisors well in advance of the closing date for applications, as supervisor endorsement is required. A qualifying programme with a GPE below 7.5 is not regarded as competitive for the purposes of a University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarship or a Faculty Scholarship.
