About the scholarship
The Faculty of Arts and Education offers a limited number of scholarships each year for doctoral candidates. The faculty aims to nurture outstanding research talent and support innovative research aligned with strategic priorities.
Entry requirements
Applicants must indicate their wish to be considered for a University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarship in their application for admission to the doctoral programme. They must also contact proposed supervisors well in advance of the closing date for applications. A qualifying programme with a GPE below 7.5 is not regarded as competitive for the purposes of a University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarship or a Faculty Scholarship. Please refer to the Faculty of Arts and Education Doctoral Statement of Research Intent for more details.
