About the scholarship
The Faculty of Arts and Education offers a limited number of doctoral scholarships each year to nurture, recruit, and retain outstanding research talent. The scholarships support excellent and innovative research and the creation of high-quality research outputs, with a focus on growing Māori and Pacific candidates and research topics.
Entry requirements
Applicants must indicate their wish to be considered for a University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarship in their application for admission to the doctoral programme. They must also contact proposed supervisors well in advance of the closing date for applications, as supervisor endorsement is required.
