About the scholarship
The POPO Pacific Physics Scholarship supports Pacific students to prepare for the PHSI 191 Biological Physics paper, as part of Health Sciences First Year (HSFY). Designed to support Pacific students interested in a career in health, the scholarship provides access to the JumpSTART Physics programme, as well as continuous support through the PHSI 191 paper and HSFY.
Entry requirements
Open to all students of indigenous Pacific descent who hold either New Zealand citizenship or a New Zealand Residence Class Visa. Applicants must submit the official application form, a separate application to study the JumpSTART Physics programme, and apply to enrol in the Health Sciences First Year programme at the University of Otago.
