About the scholarship
The Women Doctors' Fund was established in 2004 by Dr. Rosy Fenwicke and her contributors to assist female students studying medicine. The grant is awarded to a female student who is a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident in their 3rd year of study towards the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Otago.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen or New Zealand Residence Class Visa Holder, be a female student, be in her 3rd year of study towards the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Otago, and exhibit humanity, humour, courage, and an open and inquiring mind.
