Dr Sulaiman Daud 125th Jubilee Postgraduate Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 1994 to mark the 125th Anniversary of the foundation of the University of Otago, New Zealand's oldest university. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist an exceptional postgraduate research student from Malaysia to attend the University. The scholarship provides an establishment allowance of $575, a domestic tuition fee waiver (excluding student services fee), health insurance to the value of $600, a stipend of $33,624 per annum, and an educational allowance of $550. The Scholar will be required to return to their home country upon completion of their degree, except in exceptional circumstances.
