About the scholarship
The Chris Burks Memorial Bursary is offered to assist second year students with their academic progress at the University of Otago. It honors Christopher George Burks, who was a dedicated student and leader at Carrington College, known for his unselfish commitment to the welfare of his peers.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be in their second year of residence at Carrington College, considered to have made an exceptional contribution to the welfare of other students, enrolled full-time for a first undergraduate degree at the University of Otago, and under 25 years of age on 1 February in the year of application.
