About the scholarship
Established in 2022 by the University of Otago through generous support from The Isaac Conservation and Wildlife Trust, the Isaac Conservation Scholarship supports postgraduate study that is Ecological in nature with a focus on the preservation, amelioration or deeper knowledge of flora and fauna species in their native or adopted habitats as it relates healthy biodiversity in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be a full-time postgraduate student studying towards a Master's degree, either by coursework or thesis option, currently enrolled full-time or eligible to register by the commencement of the next academic semester in the year of the award, and a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. Selection will consider academic merit with an A-grade average, current involvement in conservation and environmental issues in New Zealand, and the suitability of the candidate, including character, ability to pursue research and academic attainment.
