About the scholarship
This scholarship celebrates and welcomes international students to the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka, as valued members of our University community, and is awarded to students coming to study through one of our articulation partner agreements. The value of the scholarship is $10,000 with a one-year tenure. Payment of the scholarship will be made as a credit towards tuition fees only. For those commencing study in semester 2 (July), half the scholarship funds ($5,000) will be released as a credit towards tuition fees, with the other half being released in semester 1 (February) of the following year.
Entry requirements
Application for all International Entrance Scholarships are normally open to students who have completed secondary (high) school, or at another approved institution that grants University Entrance overseas (outside of New Zealand). And Are intending to enrol or have enrolled in full-time degree-level, undergraduate study at the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka. In addition to the above eligibility criteria, applicants must be: * Intending to undertake a minimum of four semesters at the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka; * Studying on campus throughout the duration of their studies; * Applying to study at the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka through one of our approved articulation partner agreements.
