About the scholarship
This scholarship celebrates and welcomes international students to the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka, as valued members of our University community, and is awarded to students coming to study through one of our articulation partner agreements. The scholarship is valued at $10,000 and is payable only as a credit towards tuition fees. Students starting their programme in semester 2 are eligible for this scholarship. Deferral of the scholarship is not possible.
Entry requirements
Applicants must have completed secondary school or an approved institution granting University Entrance overseas, and must intend to enrol or have enrolled in full-time degree-level undergraduate study at the University of Otago. Additionally, applicants must be intending to undertake a minimum of four semesters at the University, studying on campus throughout their studies, and applying through one of the approved articulation partner agreements.
