About the scholarship

Gain the financial support you need to complete papers for submission to academic journals from your Doctorate or Master's thesis, during the examination period. The main purpose of the Bursaries is to support thesis candidates after they have submitted their thesis for examination so as to prepare and submit papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals of international standing.

Entry requirements

Eligibility conditions and regulations are appended to the application form. Doctoral candidates must have submitted their thesis within 4 EFTS and Master's Research candidates must have submitted their thesis within 1.5 EFTS. International students can apply but must have an appropriate visa covering the bursary period if undertaken in New Zealand.
