About the scholarship
Established by the University of Otago in 2005 to celebrate academic excellence and cultural diversity, this scholarship is intended to encourage the progression of Māori into tertiary study. It provides financial support to Māori students intending to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at the University of Otago.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be of Māori descent, intending to enroll or have enrolled for the first time for first-year (100-level papers), full-time degree-level, undergraduate study at the University of Otago. Verification of Māori ancestry is required.
